Tears As Family Conclude Arrangements To Bury Captain Bunus, Aged 64 In Burutu August 14

In tears, the families of Ofouware and Ozinai in Oborotu, Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have concluded plans to commit their beloved son, late Captain Kalarubo Bunuzigha, popularly known as capt. Bunus to the world beyond on Friday 14th of August 2020.

According to the burial circular jointly signed by the duo of Chief. T. M Binebai (JP), the Olotu of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State on behalf of the family and Mr. Beril Bunuzigha on behalf of the children, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper, noted that late Capt, Bunus home going services will take place at late Bunuzigha’s compound, Amba in Burutu town on the 14th of August 2020.

Capt. Kalarubo Bunuzigha was aged 64, born 31st of October 1956 and painfully existed to the World beyond on 10th of April 2020 at Igondo General Hospital Yaba, Lagos. 

Funeral arrangement thus read: “8.00 Am. Friday 14th August, 2020. Body leaves Venill Specialist Hospital, Warri to Miller Waterside, Warri. 

“8:30 Am, departure from Miller Waterside to hometown, Burutu, in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.”

However, it would be recalled that late captain Kalarubo Bunuzigha, also known as Capt. Bunus until his death was a great mariner and a major stakeholder in Sheep & Shore marine company. 

He has mentored and given employment to countless Nigerians, particularly Niger Deltans and Ijaws in the marine sector with his connections. 

Meanwhile, the family had invited friends, well wishers, Niger Deltans and the Ijaws to grace the burial ceremony of their beloved son as they lay him to eternal rest on Friday August 14th 2020.
