A foremost contender for the president of Ijaw National Congress, INC Prof. Benjamin Okaba has stated that the media is very strategic in building a stronger Ijaw Nation.
The revered Ijaw professor made the revelation on Saturday April 27th 2019 in Yenagoa during a crucial visit by the Publisher/Editor-In-Chief, The Liberator Newspaper in the company of other great young Niger Delta leaders at his Yenagoa residence.
Okaba had expressed worry over the mammoth challenges bedeviling the Ijaw nation, vowing that if elected as the INC president come May, he will work together with his executive members and other relevant stakeholders in the region to make the Ijaw nation greater than the way it is at the moment.
He had assured the Ijaw people of being transparent, accountable and will display uncommon leadership for the emancipation of the people.
Prof. Benjamin had maintained that he will waste no time in building a stronger media ties to internationalize the Ijaw struggle for proper recognition in the Nigerian state.
Meanwhile, Binebai Yerin Princewill and Comr. Doubra Collins Okotete had in their sharp reactions lauded Prof. Benjamin Ogele Okaba on his selfless services to the Ijaw nation all over the years, noting that men like him are very rare in the Ijaw nation.
