Tomone Fires Arewa Youth Assembly, Backs Tompolo On Pipeline Security Contract

Leader of Oil Rich Youbebe Community in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Amb. Dr. Apst. Godspower Tomone has fired  Arewa Youth Assembly on their recent utterance on High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo. 

The Youbebe Community leader while defending and backing Tompolo on the pipeline surveillance contract had urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to waste no time in awarding the contract to Tompolo. 

This was contained in a statement Chief Amb. Dr. Godspower Tomone personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

According to him, the Arewa Youth Assembly should not have any business with oil related matters in Nigeria since they are not producing oil, describing their statement as strange and uncalled for. 

He however, wondered how the group is yet to say anything about the killings in the North and the worsening insecurity but  quick to comment on oil matters that they no nothing about, adding that the statement is highly provocative. 

Speaking further, Chief Tomone noted that he has the right to comment on such oil related matters because as a foremost leader in Youbebe, a major oil producing autonomous community in Ogulagha Kingdom, adding that Tompolo is the man ripe enough for the job.

Nevertheless, The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that Chief Tomone’s House in the  oil rich Youbebe Community is just a stone throw to the famous South

Bank oil Flowstation in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, a major oil facility in Nigeria. 

Amb. Godspower asserted that by virtue of Tompolo hailing from Ogulagha, Gbaramatu and other oil bearing kingdoms in the Niger Delta region cum his sacrifices over the years makes him more qualified to be given the contract. 

The Youbebe leader also lauded the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government of Nigeria for considering the choice of Tompolo, stressing that with Tompolo handling the pipeline surveillance contract, the oil production in the country will no doubt improve as he has done it before.

Meanwhile, Tomone asserted that going by the way the Arewa Youth Assembly have the audacity to speak on the pipeline surveillance contract matter beaming their searchlight on Tompolo shows that there is no smoke without fire. 

He noted that it must have been the hand work of some internal betrayals, warning that anyone fighting Tompolo will not have his way as he has the blessings of all the Ijaw people, adding that people who are bent on selling Ijaw nation out should repent now before they will meet their waterloo.
