Two Years In Office: INC Scores Bayelsa Governor High On Security, Road Projects
The Publicity Secretary of the apex Ijaw group, Engr. Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha, gave the commendation in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa state, while speaking with pressmen during the celebration of Diri’s second year in office.
Ezonebi noted that the Governor had done well in the areas of security and road construction in Bayelsa, citing particularly the Tombia roundabout that used to be a den of hoodlums, but had now been beautified, lightened and beefed up with standby security in the area.
The INC Publicity Secretary also applauded Governor Diri for the construction of new roads in the state and urged those elected to serve to always remember the promises they made to the people while seeking their mandate and strive to be selfless in service, while also attracting development to their constituencies.
