Two Years In Office: IYC President Present Credence Letter To Governor Diri

President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Dcn (Comr) Peter Timothy Igbifa has on behalf of the Ijaw Youths written a letter of credence to His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State on his two years in office. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.
While presenting the letter with an award of Grand Ambassador of Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, Comrade Peter Igbifa noted that the governor’s loving nature towards the Ijaw Nation is a pointer to his ebullient drive for a better Ijaw nation, he however called on other Ijaw born politicians to join the Bayelsa state governor to spread the love and pursue IJAW agenda beyond Party lines.
While receiving the award the Miracle cum Valentine Governor, Senator Douye Diri thanked the president of IYC for changing the narrative in the council, he also commended the strategic gesture of the letter which he considered a huge encouragement to do more.
Governor Diri said this goes to show that the only way for Ijaw nation is progress and that the face of the Ijaw nation is up again. He further encouraged the first Deacon President of council not to relent in putting God first in the activities of council.
“This is the first letter of CREDENCE written by a renowned Youth organisation in the recent. I deeply appreciate it”. Governor Diri stated.

The entire Ijaw youths under the auspices of the Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) identify with His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State on this important occasion of your second anniversary in office as the Governor of the Ijaw nation.
Your Excellency, you have left no one in doubt that you are an astute administrator par excellence, a unifier, a peace advocate, a performer and a dogged defender of the Ijaw race in the face of glaring injustices and monumental inequities.
Your Excellency, as you mark this auspicious day to highlight your unprecedented and all-encompassing development of Bayelsa State within your two years in office, we make bold to unequivocally affirm you as the Grand Ambassador of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide.
We, hereby, throw our weight behind you to continue with your sacrosanct mandate to represent the Ijaw race in any discuss wherein the interest of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide or the Ijaw race is on the front burner both nationally and globally.
