Three communities in the Delta State Created Wards, Ward 20, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have collectively endorsed Mr. Moses Okibou Labopere for the Councillorship position.

The communities include Okibou Zion, Agedi  Zion as well as Kandangba in Burutu Local Government Area.

The endorsement was made recently during an emergency leadership meeting of the three communities on the need to have a stake in the ward.

While hinting The Liberator Newspaper, a source from the community who would not want his name to be mentioned in print noted that the political sidelining meted out on the axis despite being part of the ward is becoming worrisome and calls for great concern.

They maintained that for the purpose of fair sharing, it will be nice for the aforementioned axis to represent the ward in the fast approaching political Local Government elections in the state.

Speaking further, they maintained that since the creation of the ward, they have not had the opportunity to represent the ward by producing the councillor nor have they been given any reasonable political appointment, stressing that the time has come to put things right.

It would be recalled that Mr. Moses Okibou Labopere, a leader in the area also contested the councillorship election at the level of the  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries during the last Local Government Elections in the state.

Moses Okibou had vowed that he is very  much in the race again, pleading with political leaders of Ward 11 to consider him and his people this time around.
