Western Zone IYC Election: Obotebe Clan Chairman Okou Summons Meeting, Gives Report

In his bid to live up to his promises as Chairman of Obotebe Clan Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) to ensure transparency and accountability, Comr. Okou Andaowei has called a meeting where reports on the just concluded Western Zone IYC Election  held at Igbekebor, Apoi Clan in Ondo State was given. Comr. Okou Andaowei who presided over the meeting as Chairman of the revered clan in Western Zone noted that it is important to brief his people after participating in a rigorius Western Zone election. 

He said he promised his people to be extremely  transparent and accountable, stressing that after the election, it was nice for him and his executive members to call for a meeting to brief leaders and youths of Obotebe Clan on happenings in council so far. 

The meeting which was held in Warri recently saw Ijaw youths and leaders of Obotebe Clan in their numbers stormed the meeting in frenzy.

After much deliberations in the all important meeting, it was resolved that the Obotebe Clan IYC must always support their own  if he or she is contesting any election in council. 

The Clan Chairman had also appreciated Mama Aluta for her selfless sacrifices in keeping the Clan IYC stronger, united and on the right path. 

Nevertheless, Andaowei had also used the medium to congratulate all elected officers of Western Zone IYC, adding that they should operate open door policy by carrying everyone along.
