Youth Leader Defends Boyloaf, Knocks Akpabio, Effiong On Administrative Deficiencies

An Ijaw Youth Leader, Comr. Okaba Odens, a former parliamentarian of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Mobile Parliament Worldwide and Chairman of Tarakiri Clan IYC, Western Zone has defended Ebikabowei Victor Ben, popularly known as Gen. Boyloaf, stressing that the former warlord actually spoke the minds of all well meaning Niger Deltans.
This was contained in a statement signed by Comr. Okaba Odens in Yenagoa yesterday, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Comr. Okaba had in the statement knocked the duo of Sen. Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs who doubles as the supervising minister to the NDDC as well as Mr. Akwa Effiong, Interim Administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) as failures, adding that the NDDC has done nothing for the people to celebrate other than turning it as an ethnic commission.
The youth leader reiterated that the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is truly finished in the hands of Effiong and Akpabio, adding that the administrative deficiencies of Akpabio and Akwa is telling negatively on Niger Deltans.
While taking a swipe on the operators and sponsors of the Niger Delta Movement for Development (NDMD), Okaba had described the group as a conglomerate of unprogressive elements and agents of darkness, adding that Gen. Boyloaf won’t stoop low in joining issues with faceless group of people that will sell the development of their people for crumbs from enemies of the region.
The statement had enjoined well meaning Ijaws and Niger Deltans to be wary of characters like Victor Matthew if truly he is existing and his group, describing them as the real enemies of Ijaw nation and Niger Delta.
In his words: “The media report against our highly respected former warlord Gen. Boyloaf credited to a certain fake and disgruntled elements under the aegis of Niger Delta Movement for Development (NDMD) signed by one alien Victor Matthew is not only laughable but a display of what hunger can do to people.
“Niger Deltans and Ijaws are wise, we know our true heroes as Gen. Boyloaf is one of them, he has spoken the minds of Niger Deltans and there is no way such sponsored agents of retrogresion will have their way against our revered leader”.
