Special assistant to the Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on project monitoring and community development, Engr. Kingsley Forcados have made his last minute call on Deltans to vote massively for all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Engr. Forcados made the call earlier today in Burutu, headquarters of the Local Government Area while addressing the press on his stance to deliver the PDP in Burutu Local Government Area.
The special assistant is one of the leaders in ward 10, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, stressing that voting for the PDP is the right thing to do.
He had particularly called on Deltans to vote for Atiku/Obi presidency; Okowa/Otuaro Governorship; Sen. James Manager for Senate, Delta South; Hon.Julius Pondi for House of representatives, Burutu federal constituency, Abuja; Hon Asupa Forteta, for Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu North.
Engr. Kingsley had further urged people of Burutu Local Government Area, particularly Burutu South to vote for Mr. Pullah Ekpotuayerin for Burutu South, Delta State House of Assembly.
On Okowa/Otuaro, Kingsley had noted that the governor and his deputy must be returned by all means, adding that Deltans are lucky to have Okowa as governor of the state, stressing that the entire State is wearing a new and better look under the duo.
According to him, no part of Delta State despite its complexities can deny the fact that the prosperity for all Deltans agenda had not done well in their areas, noting that the testimonies of the administration is overwhelming.
He had further described Okowa as a development guru in Delta State, maintaining that riverine communities will forever be grateful to Okowa and his deputy for his landmark projects.
According to him, the governor’s projects are visible in Ogulagha Kingdom, Iduwini Kingdom, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Ngbilebiri Kingdom; Ogbolubiri Kingdom, among other Kingdoms in Delta State.
He said just as the administration is positively affecting the Ijaw areas in the state, what is happening in the urban is unprecedented in terms of development.
Another area the special assistant had noted was the political appointments of the governor, stating that Okowa is truly a detribalized governor.
He had further hinted journalists that for the purpose of equity, the governor must be returned to the government house, Asaba for Deltans to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
While speaking on the other candidates, he had described Manager, Pondi, Asupa and Pullah as a positive combination of development.
