2023 Burutu North: Chief Yerin-Ama Congratulates Asupa, Call For Unity In PDP
A high ranking Chief in Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Komi Peter Yerin-ama, popularly known as Papa2 has congratulated Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta, member representing Burutu North, Delta State House of Assembly on his victory at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary for the constituency ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Chief Komi Peter Yerin-ama who is the Miyenkirigbolomowei of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State, a marine pilot made the call via a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide earlier today.
The revered Iduwini Kingdom Chief while congratulating Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta on his victory had called for the unity of members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Burutu Local Government.
According to him, the primary elections of the PDP has come and gone, stressing that it is now time for members of the PDP to put their house in order ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections, adding that litigation is not needed at the moment within the party.
Chief Yerin-Ama described the emergence of Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta and others that won the PDP primaries in Burutu Local Government Area as the will of God, adding that party leaders must work together to protect and support all candidates of the party.
However, the Iduwini Chief has appealed to the voting masses of Burutu North to ensure that come 2023, Hon. Asupa is voted massively for him to return to the house to continue his good work.
Yerin-Ama explained that his love for Asupa is owing to his productive leadership in the house as a first timer, stressing that he has influenced a lot of developmental projects to Burutu North, particularly Burutu Community road projects and others in Iduwini Kingdom.
He asserted that there should be no need for internal bickering in the party, stating that the people needs productive leadership and Hon. Asupa is delivering the productive leadership, maintaining that he needs to be encouraged and not to be distracted.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that Chief Papa2 is almost the supreme leader of Forcados community in ward 10, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Yerin-Ama had vowed that he will mobilise his people come 2023 in ensuring that they deliver PDP candidates.
Nevertheless, Chief Komi had appealed to Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta to also consider and look into the developmental woes bedeviling Forcados community, a former administrative capital of Nigeria.
It would be recalled that before the PDP primaries in Delta, Chief Yerin-Ama had endorsed and called on delegates to vote for Hon. Asupa, an endorsement that was published by The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide and the Vanguard Newspaper on the 4th of March 2022.
