IYC Congratulates King Asari-Dokubo On Staff Of Office, Commend Governor Fubara

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, has congratulated HRH Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, Dabaye Amakiri (I), Amayanabo, Torusarama Piri, Elem Kalabari on his presentation of staff of office and certificate of recognition as a traditional ruler in Rivers State by His Excellency, Siminalaye Fubara, Executive Governor of Rivers State. 

This was contained in a statement signed on behalf of council by Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill, Spokesman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide,  a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide. 

The statement while commending Governor Fubara for the certificate of recognition and presentation of staff of office had described the exercise as a sign of good omen.

IYC Congratulates King Asari-Dokubo on Staff of Office, Commends Governor Fubara

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide congratulates King  Asari- Dokubo Dabaye Amakiri (I), Amayanabo, Torusarama Piri, Elem Kalabari, on his presentation of staff of office and certificate of recognition as a traditional ruler in Rivers State by His Excellency, Siminalaye Fubara, Executive Governor of Rivers State.

As a former President of the Ijaw Youth Council and a leader in the Niger Delta struggle for liberation, the IYC will continue to be proud of him for standing firm to defend his people and fighting against injustice in Rivers State, Niger Delta, Ijaw, and Nigeria at large.

The installation of our leader and father as the Amayanabo of Elem Kalabari (Torusarama Piri) is a divine and welcome development for the Ijaws in Rivers State and beyond. We have no doubt that our highly revered new traditional ruler will use his wealth of experience, together with other traditional rulers in Rivers State and Nigeria, to negotiate a better deal for his people, the Ijaw nation, and Niger Delta in general.

Your legacies as a former President of  Council still speak volumes about your proactiveness and achievements in the Ijaw struggle for resource control and self-determination in Nigeria.

We also extend our congratulatory message to other monarchs in Rivers State who were given staff of office and certificates of recognition on the same day our leader was installed as a traditional ruler in Rivers State. This is a sign of good omen in Rivers State.

The Ijaw Youth Council commends His Excellency, Siminalaye Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, for presenting the staff of office and certificate of recognition to our father in the struggle, HRH Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, as a traditional ruler in Torusarama Piri, Elem Kalabari, Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State.

As you continue to transform Rivers State with your excellent and uncommon leadership, be assured that the entire Ijaw nation is behind you and proud of your accomplishments.

We call on all sons and daughters of the Ijaw nation and good-spirited people of Rivers State to continue supporting the administration of Governor Fubara, as he works to transform Rivers State for the good of everyone.
