Gbaramatu Kingdom IYC Announces Free JAMB, Bursary, Scholarship Scheme
Dear members of our illustrious Kingdom,
We are excited to announce that the Ijaw Youth Council, Gbaramatu Clan, is pleased to introduce a new initiative aimed at supporting the educational aspirations of our youth. In our commitment to fostering academic excellence and providing opportunities for our students, we are launching a supplementary educational support scheme for tertiary students across the kingdom.
Key Features of the Scheme:
1. Free JAMB Registration: We will cover the registration fees for all potential JAMB candidates, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder their pursuit of higher education.
2. Scholarship Rewards: A scholarship reward of #50,000 will be awarded to the 10 highest scorers in the JAMB examination. This is our way of recognizing and encouraging academic excellence among our youth.
3. Bursary for Tertiary Students: We will also provide bursary support for students currently enrolled in higher institutions. This financial assistance aims to ease the burden of educational expenses, allowing our students to focus on their studies. *This will serves as an avenue for us to know the number of Tertiary students across the kingdom.*
We believe that education is a powerful tool for empowerment and development. This initiative reflects our dedication to nurturing the potential of our youth and ensuring that they have the resources they need to succeed.
• Eligibility and Application Process:
Further details regarding eligibility criteria and the application process will be communicated shortly. We encourage all interested students to stay tuned for updates.
We urge all members of the Gbaramatu community to share this announcement with potential JAMB candidates and tertiary students. Together, let us support our youth in their educational journeys.
A link for Application and Registration will be posted subsequently.
Thank you for your continued support.
Signed.
