The endorsement came during the Parliamentary Roundtable on pipeline security and efforts to address crude oil theft, where the Joint Committees on Petroleum Resources recognized Tantita’s contributions.
Don Banky commended the lawmakers for their support, noting that it demonstrates a commitment to improving the safety of Nigeria’s oil infrastructure.
“There is hope for Nigerians. This shows that the National Assembly is actively engaged and responsive to the needs of our communities,” he said.
He highlighted Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited as an important partner in ensuring the protection of pipelines and promoting safe operations in the Niger Delta. According to him, the company’s work has helped maintain secure oil facilities and contributed to consistent crude oil production.
Don Banky encouraged continued collaboration among security agencies, host communities, and private surveillance firms, emphasizing that teamwork and commitment are essential to sustaining the progress already achieved.
The National Assembly’s endorsement of Tantita has been welcomed by stakeholders, who see it as a positive move toward securing Nigeria’s oil assets and supporting the growth of the nation’s oil and gas sector.
