The immediate past President of the Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC), Comrade Roland Pere-Ebi Dede, has joined well-wishers across the Niger Delta to celebrate High Chief (Dr) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

In a heartfelt goodwill message, Dede described Tompolo as a true pride of the Ijaw nation and the Niger Delta, noting that his life has been defined by sacrifice, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the development and unity of his people.

He said Tompolo remains a towering figure whose contributions continue to shape peace, stability, and socio-economic progress in the region. According to him, the celebrant’s impact cuts across youth empowerment, community development, and the promotion of collective prosperity in the Niger Delta.

Dede expressed particular pride as a son of Ogulagha Kingdom, stating that Tompolo’s achievements have brought honour and recognition to their homeland. He added that his leadership journey stands as an inspiration to young people who aspire to serve their communities with dedication and purpose.

He further lauded Tompolo’s efforts in transforming lives through various empowerment initiatives, describing him as a beacon of hope who has restored confidence among many youths in the region.

Highlighting his role as Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Dede commended the organisation for its significant contributions to safeguarding oil and gas infrastructure in the Niger Delta. He noted that the company’s operations have helped curb pipeline vandalism and oil theft, thereby strengthening Nigeria’s economic stability and increasing national revenue.

He also praised Tantita Security Services for creating employment opportunities for thousands of youths, stressing that such interventions have helped reduce restiveness and promote lasting peace in the region.

Dede concluded by praying for continued good health, wisdom, and greater achievements for Tompolo, describing him as a leader whose legacy of service will remain indelible in the history of the Ijaw nation, Niger Delta, and Nigeria at large.
