The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer for Warri Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, Chief Pedro Bekenawei, has charged the people of the constituency to vote out what he described as unproductive leadership, stressing that Warri Federal Constituency deserves better representation.

Chief Bekenawei, while giving the charge to constituents in Warri, noted that his candidature is divinely designed to liberate Warri Federal Constituency from political stagnation and unproductive representation, stressing that he is on a rescue mission to salvage Warri from what he described as bad leadership in the House of Representatives.

According to him, as the 2027 general elections draw nearer, the people of Warri Federal Constituency must shine their eyes and be wary of deceptive political tactics employed by those who have made it a habit to exploit the people politically during electioneering periods.

He maintained that the time has come for the people of the constituency to take a decisive stand and demand purposeful, productive and accountable representation that will place their interests above personal political ambitions.

Chief Pedro Bekenawei lamented that Warri Federal Constituency has suffered more than enough from what he described as bad leadership over the years, stressing that the people can no longer afford to remain passive while their constituency continues to experience what he termed political stagnation.

He said his ambition is not driven by personal interest but by a strong desire to provide the people with a new direction and a representation that will be responsive to their needs, aspirations and expectations.

The NDC candidate further stated that the people of Warri Federal Constituency have a responsibility to make the right political choice in 2027, insisting that elections provide the people with the opportunity to replace unproductive leadership with leaders who are prepared to work for the development and advancement of the constituency.

He urged the electorate not to be deceived by temporary political gestures, inducements or promises that usually surface during election periods, but to look beyond such tactics and consider the track records, capacity and genuine commitment of those seeking their votes.

Bekenawei stressed that Warri Federal Constituency is endowed with enormous human and natural resources and should therefore have effective representation capable of attracting meaningful development, opportunities and attention to the constituency.

He added that the constituency deserves a representative who will speak boldly for the people, pursue their interests and ensure that their concerns receive the necessary attention at the National Assembly.

The NDC flag bearer therefore called on the people of Warri Federal Constituency to rise above political sentiments and make a collective decision to vote for a new direction in 2027.

He reiterated that his candidature represents a rescue mission and an opportunity for the people to break away from what he described as years of unproductive representation.

Chief Pedro Bekenawei expressed confidence that with the support and mandate of the people, he would provide the purposeful and progressive representation that Warri Federal Constituency deserves.

He called on the electorate to remain vigilant, united and determined as the 2027 general elections approach, stressing that the future of Warri Federal Constituency is in the hands of its people.

According to him, “Warri deserves better representation, and the time has come for the people to vote out unproductive leadership and choose a new direction.”
