VACANCY: Tantita Security Services Opens Recruitment For Drone Pilots

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has announced a recruitment opportunity for qualified and experienced professionals seeking to work as Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) or Drone Pilots.
The company said the successful candidates will support its security, surveillance, monitoring, reconnaissance and other operational activities through the safe and effective deployment of drone systems.
According to the vacancy notice dated August 16, 2026, the Drone Pilot will be responsible for operating UAS and drone systems for approved security operations, while maintaining high standards of aviation safety, regulatory compliance, professionalism and operational readiness.
The responsibilities of the successful candidates will include pre-flight planning, risk assessments, equipment inspections and post-flight checks. They will also be expected to execute drone missions in line with approved operational procedures and applicable aviation regulations.
The company said the pilots will monitor flight parameters, weather conditions, airspace restrictions and other factors that could affect flight safety. They will also capture and manage aerial imagery, videos and other mission-related data.
Other responsibilities include maintaining accurate flight logs, mission records, incident reports and equipment documentation, as well as conducting routine checks on drones, batteries, payloads, ground-control equipment and associated systems.
The successful candidates will also work closely with security and operational teams in support of assigned missions and maintain strict confidentiality concerning operational activities, security information and collected data.
Tantita further stated that applicants must immediately report equipment defects, safety concerns, incidents or operational abnormalities.
Qualification
- Applicants are required to possess a valid Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) with an Instrument Rating.

They must also have relevant aviation knowledge and a demonstrated understanding of flight operations and safety procedures.
