Tantita Boosts Aerial Surveillance Capability With Textron Aerosonde MK 4.7
Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has further strengthened its aerial surveillance and security capabilities following the addition of the Aerosonde MK 4.7 Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), supplied by Textron Systems, a United States-based aerospace and defence technology company, to its operational fleet.
The deployment of the advanced U.S.-made unmanned aerial system is expected to significantly enhance Tantita’s capacity for persistent aerial surveillance, monitoring and reconnaissance across its areas of operation.
With the Textron Aerosonde MK 4.7 now added to its fleet, Tantita’s “eyes in the sky” have been further strengthened, providing enhanced aerial visibility and situational awareness to support its security operations.
The company’s aerial surveillance capabilities are further supported by the Tantita Command and Control Application, which services its Command and Control Centres and strengthens operational coordination and real-time situational awareness.
The integration of the Aerosonde MK 4.7 into Tantita’s security architecture underscores the company’s growing reliance on advanced technology and unmanned systems to support operations in challenging and high-risk environments.
