Deck congratulates Agediga on appointment, describes him as a rare specie in politics
A grass root leader in Ogulagha Kingdom, Sir Ato Deck Pere has congratulated Amb. Shedrack Agediga, Executive Director, Planning, Research and Statistics in the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC.
Deck made the call yesterday via a statement issued to newsmen at Obotobo I community in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.
The grass root leader had particularly described the DESOPADEC PRS ED as a rare specie in politics, stressing that his capacity to deliver in his new office is not in doubt.
In his words: “I feel so excited on the appointment of a rare leader, Amb. Shedrack Agediga as ED PRS on the board of DESOPADEC”.
However, Mr. Pere had particularly appreciated His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State for appointing a worthy son of oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom into the board of DESOPADEC.
Mr. Deck had noted that the appointment of Agediga shows that the Governor is truly committed in building a stronger Delta State.
It would be recalled that Sir Deck Ato Pere was a former president of the Ogulagha Kingdom Proffesional Welders and Fitters Association of Nigeria, a position he had used in confronting some of the dark challenges that had hitherto bedeviled the union.
