The state read in full bellow:

RE: DELTA IDUWINI YOUTHS TASK H. E SEN. DR OKOWA ARTHUR IFEANYI TO REVERSED THE DESOPADEC COMMISSIONER /BOARD OF DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT TO IDUWINI KINGDOM.

Our attention has been drawn to a statement made by some unscrupulous elements under the aegis of “Delta Iduwini Youths” on the 22/07/ 2019, where the yet to be identified authors laid claim to the ownership of the SPDC Forcados Terminal and threatening the peaceful coexistence between OGULAGHA and IDUWINI kingdoms.

It is not in our character to respond to such armature and unguided statements on social media space, but for the sake of clarification and for the general public not to be misled we deem it fit to respond to the said faceless group and to make our position known to the general public.

We wish to enjoin the general public especially the Delta state government to put aside the false claims made by the said Iduwini Delta Youths as Ogulagha is the sole host of the SPDC Forcados Terminal.

The Ogulagha people out of brotherly love allows Odimodi community to enjoy only 25% percent of resources accruing from the SPDC tank farm in Ogulagha Community, not as host community or owners of the facility.

It is a known fact that no single Iduwini Delta community is an oil producing community but are classified as impacted communities in the records of SPDC and the DESOPADEC Act and that is their very true position till date.

We hereby call on all security agencies and the government to as a matter of urgency invite the said group for interrogation.

We call on the group to immediately withdraw their provocative statements and tender unreserved apology to Ogulagha community and the kingdom at large because their unguided statements could lead to anarchy between the two sister kingdoms if not carefully handled.

Signed for Ogulagha community

Mr Anthony Waterwei.

Youth president

Mr Denyefa Torke.

Secretary General

Mr Diribiwei Ene Kennedy

P.R.O.
