-Says Burutu is 6/6
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in ward 11, Comr. Frank Akiefa, in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has stated that the victory of PDP will be non negotiable during the forthcoming general elections.
He said Burutu is 6/6, adding that he had put measures on ground in Ogulagha Kingdom where he hails from to deliver the PDP in the forthcoming general elections.
Comr. Akiefa made the call earlier today in Burutu, headquarters of the local government area while making preparations ahead of the PDP campaign slated tomorrow.
In his words: “In view of the visible achievements of His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and his amiable deputy, Barr. (Deacon) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro in the administration of the state so far, i will be mobilising fully to support the re-election bid of the duo during the general elections.
“Posterity will not judge us right if at this point of our existence as youths, we fail to acknowledge and cue behind what is good for us as a people.
“The fact cannot be contested anywhere that Okowa is the most youth friendly government since the creation of Delta as a political entity within Nigeria.
“We have no other choice than to support the continuity of Okowa who had demonstrated over the years his unquenchable thirst for prosperity and development. Ekweme! You are truly a road master and a guru of development. Your Excellency, we can assure you that come 2019, your return to the Government House Asaba is already a done deal.
“As youths that characterizes majority of the votes in Delta State, we have decided that Deltans still needs you once more as a governor of the state to experience more productivity.” Comr. Frank Akiefa.
The Burutu 6/6 according to Akiefa include Atiku/Obi for presidency; Okowa/Otuaro for governor; Sen. James Manager for senate Delta South; Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi for Burutu Federal Constituency; Hon. Asupa Forteta, for Burutu North, Delta State House of Assembly and Mr. Pullah Ekpotuayerin for Burutu South, Delta State House of Assembly.
