Says Dokubo is becoming a scam in the amnesty office

Draws battleline

Prof. Charles Dokubo, Amnesty boss

There seems to be more trouble for the Presidential Coordinator of the Niger Delta Amnesty Programme, PAP, Prof. Charles Q. Dokubo as Ex agitators and leaders  in Delta State, met recently  in Warri at the Cyprian Hotel, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State  to press forward their demand to see empowerment packages meant for them.

They had hinted journalists that the presidential coordinator of the programme is becoming a scam in the amnesty office, stressing that the empowerment packages meant for the Ex- warlords in Delta State must get to them.

However, the civilian generals had particularly warned Dokubo to immediately provide the welfare packages for them or be ready to face calls for his sack.

The group had further described Prof. Charles as a fraud, stating that packages meant for the Ex agitators had been diverted and taken to God knows where.

Expressing bitterness over the matter, the group had noted that while the packages got to their counterparts in Bayelsa and other States in the Niger Delta, the story of Delta is a different one as no one knows the whereabouts of the packages.

In their words: “With due consultations and deliberation yesterday in Warri. The Ex- agitators and leaders of Delta State, are calling on the Amnesty office, the S.A and Mr Jude Gbabojor to tell us the whereabouts of the empowerment materials. We are calling on them to provide the equipments or face the consequences.”

According to our source, some of the self styled generals that where present at the meeting include Gen. Godday Smith, alias King of the forest;  Gen. Andabofa Opunama;  Gen. Enabina Young; Gen. Figbele;  Gen. Wilson Gbaire; Gen. Indiamin Kpolotor; Gen. Aroni Oputu;  among many  other leaders of the struggle.

Meanwhile, all efforts geared toward hearing from Dokubo and Mr. Jude Gbabojor who was also fingered in the allegation proves abortive as they did not respond to calls put across to their mobile phones.
