​2019: Etimigba congratulates Pondi on electoral victory

Renowned world peace ambassador in Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, Amb. (Chief) Evans E. Etimigba, JP has congratulated Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives on his victory at the Saturday presidential and national assembly election.

The Delta State Justice of Peace issued the statement yesterday in Warri while expressing his happiness towards the landslide victory of the national lawmaker.

The world peace ambassador had described Pondi as a disciple of good governance, stressing that his victory during the polls is a pointer that he has performed above expectations as a first timer, hence the second mandate.

Chief Evans had further reiterated that he had no iota of doubt in him that the second coming of Pondi will facilitate more development to the entire Burutu federal constituency.

According to him, the emergence of Pondi in the Burutu political arena, Delta State and Niger Delta is a good omen to the oppressed people.

In his words: “When a politician begins to put the people and his constituency above personal interest and eventually allay the fears of his people without any form of sentiment, then securing the trust of the people becomes very easy.

“The entire Burutu federal constituency is happy with Pondi and what he has done for the people, I know that his second coming is going to be more interesting in terms of drawing development to our people.

“His victory is a victory for democracy and the consolidation of good governance in Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives, Abuja, his voice will become so supersonic in the house”

Meanwhile, it would be recalled that Chief Evans is a recipient of the United Nations, UN POLAC award as a world peace ambassador.

He is the Fungewei (Scribe) of Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State and a high ranking Justice of Peace in Delta State.

The Liberator can report that prior to the presidential and national assembly elections, the world peace ambassador had endorsed Pondi and other PDP candidates with a call on the people of Burutu Local Government Area to come in their numbers to vote for Hon. Julius and other PDP candidates, with financial commitment on his personal account.

Nevertheless, Etimigba had hinted our reporter that he will mobilize fully to ensure the victory of Governor Okowa and other PDP candidates in the forthcoming governorship elections.
