2019: Sheath your swords, lets work together, Ereyitomi begs opposition candidates
The Winner of the just concluded Warri Federal Constituency Seat in the House of Representative, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi today urged Candidates of the All Progressive Congress, APC and the Social Democratic Party,APC and SDP, Alex Eyengho and Hon. Daniel Reyenieju to sheath their swords and join hands with him to move Warri Federal Constituency forward.
The Warri Chief stated that there is a lot of poverty in the area stressing,”The poverty rate in Nigeria generally, is very high. In Warri Federal Constituency where we have lot, poverty is also very high.”
“Am here to reach out to those aggrieved. It is time to sheath our swords and come to the table. Our people have been left for too long.”
Chief Ereyitomi who contested and won the House of Representative Seat under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Warri Federal Constituency with Sea-Ports in Warri and Koko now a grave yard.
He said the people especially the youths are unemployed while the elderly including women suffer hunger and starvation.
Pained by the plights of the people Chief Ereyitomi released a four point agenda that he would work with in the next four years to better improve the lives of the people.
Director-General of Chief Thomas Ereyitomi Campaign Organization, Chief Robinson Ariyo disclosed this during an interactive session with members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Warri Correspondents’ Chapel.
Chief Ariyo said the four point agenda includes, “Economic Development”, ” Capacity building”,”Peace building” as well as “Research & Advocacy”.
He said his principal will delve into the four points agenda and extract from them in a way that it would touch the lives of people Warri Federal Constituency positively.
Chief Ariyo said his principal is educated and qualified to occupy and resume work as the member representing the people of Warri Federal Constituency Seat in the House of Representative.
This is coming contrary to a rumor allegedly being peddled by some faceless individuals.
Speaking on the educational background of his Principal,Chief Ariyo said,”Chief Thomas Ereyitomi has a Masters Degree in Business Administration, B.sc in Political Science and other qualifications which he tendered when applying to contest the position with other Candidates.
