​Elections: Prince Bibaikefie congratulates Okowa, Manager, Pondi, Asupa, Pullah, Guwor on victories

A former contender under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the Burutu North, House of Assembly seat in Delta State during the primaries last year, Prince. Perez K. Bibaikefie has congratulated the Governor of Delta State and his deputy, Barr. (Deacon) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro on their victory.

Prince Bibaikefie had described the Okowa’s victory as a well deserving one, adding that Deltans have unfinished business with him, hence there is need for the governor to finish his good works in the state.

However, the Iduwini born politician had also congratulated other members elect of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State for their victories.

Some of the members elect Prince Perez is congratulating on their victories include distinguished Senator James Manager, Senator-elect, Delta South Senatorial district; Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, as member-elect, Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives; Hon. Asupa Forteta, member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu constituency I; Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu II constituency and Mr. Emomotimi Guwor, member-elect, Delta State House of Assembly, Warri South-West constituency.

However, Bibaikefie had tasked the Governor of Delta State and the members elect across the state to aggressively focus on the development of the riverine Ijaw communities in Delta State.

In his words: “I hereby call on them to collaborate towards connecting the riverine communities in Forcados and Escravos Areas to the upland by road networks within the next four years.”.

Meanwhile, the PDP chieftain in Burutu Local Government Government Council had expressed optimism that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP 2019 presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will be victorious at the tribunal.

It would be recalled that Prince Perez was a former president of the National Association of Burutu Local Government Students, NABLOGS, former president National Association of Odimodi Students, NAOS, now president of Odimodi Graduates Association, OGA, he is also the convener of The Youth Agenda, a political movement and several other leadership positions he had held while climbing the ladder of leadership.
