​Belief calls for an end of political subjugation in Egbema kingdom

Niger Delta rights activist cum entertainer, Hon. (Comr.) Famous Belief Wonikiri-ebi has called on the Delta state government to put an end to what he calls “political subjugation” in Egbema kingdom, Warri North Local Government, Delta State.

The rights activist made the call yesterday in Warri while reacting to the state of Egbema kingdom in Delta state, noting that each time he makes a trip to his kingdom, he is in pains and in tears, owing to the unprecedented level of underdevelopment.

He had particularly regretted that despite the political contributions of Egbema kingdom in the Delta state politics over the years, the level of development in the kingdom is nothing to write home about.

The youthful leader had tasked the Delta state government headed by His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa to correct what he described as age long anomaly.

He said Delta is becoming a strange  state to the people of Egbema as no meaningful development both in human and infrastructural forms can be traced to it.

He had particularly charged Governor Okowa to prioritize the development of Egbema kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, stressing that Egbema have the human capacity at all level to operate and deliver on any political office in the state and beyond.

Meanwhile, Hon. Famous had maintained that he will be frequent on the media to advocate for his people until justice is served to Egbema kingdom and her people in Delta state.

It would be recalled that due to the overwhelming influence Hon. Famous has over his people, he is generally referred to as the “political imgbigidi”
