Confirm Brambaifa as substantive NDDC MD, Ekpemupolo tells FG
Leader of the Coalition of Niger Delta Voices, Barr. Frank Ekpemupolo has called on the federal government of Nigeria to waste no time in confirming Prof. Nelson Brambaifa as the substantive Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
Barr. Ekpemupolo made the appeal yesterday in Yenagoa while speaking to newsmen on the lingering issue.
According to him, the issue of confirming Prof. Nelson Brambaifa as the substantive MD of NDDC is becoming worrisome, stressing that Niger Deltans are comfortable with the leadership pattern of the MD.
The Coalition leader had noted that Prof. Nelson is a perfect man for the job, stressing that his few days in office had repositioned a lot of things in the Niger Delta region.
It would be recalled recently that, Bayelsa State elders and youths have also prevail on the Presidency to confirm Brambaifa as the substantive Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC in a massive protest that rocked the streets of Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa State.
Meanwhile, Frank Ekpemupolo had further carpeted security operatives for allegedly detaining the NDDC boss and some other Niger Deltans recently in their custody.
He had particularly described the alleged detain as uncalled for and totally wrong move by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
