Politicians should alleviate the sufferings of their people – Okowa
The Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi A. Okowa has tasked politicians in the state to do their bests in alleviating the sufferings of their people.
Governor Okowa gave the charge yesterday at the Redemption Hall Mega Parish, RCCG, (Delta 5 HQTRs), Bright Hope Street off Airport Road, Warri, Delta State during the electoral victory thanksgiving/child dedication of Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor and his wife.
The Governor had particularly admonished politicians in the state to show gratitude to those that elected them into office.
However, Sen. Okowa had also appealed to men of God in the state to continue to pray to the Almighty God for political leaders to do the things for their people and protection.
It would be recalled that Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor is the member representing Warri South West Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly.
