Braboke congratulates Takeme, salutes Okowa, Esiso, other PDP chieftains in Delta

Commisioner for Trade and Business Development, Bayelsa State, Hon. Stanley Braboke has congratulated newly appointed and inaugurated Vice Chairman of the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP cum chairman PDP Delta South senatorial district, Chief (Dr) Julius Takeme.

The commisioner issued the congratulatory message via a statement issued to newsmen in Warri recently, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper.

Hon. Braboke had particularly appreciated His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi A. Okowa, Governor of Delta State, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, PDP chairman Delta State and other party leaders in the state that facilitated the appointment of Takeme.

The renowned Niger Delta philanthropist had particularly described the choice of Takeme as chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta South as a well conceived idea, stressing that Chief Julius Takeme have the political temerity and clout to move the party to a more greater height.

In his words: “I want to specially use this medium to congratulate a dear friend and a brother, Chief (Dr) Julius Takeme on his sweeping and overwhelming appointment as Vice Chairman PDP Delta State and Chairman PDP Delta South.

“His appointment is truly a reward for hard work, he had really toiled and worked so hard for the system, he is a man that I am so proud of, it is my believe that he shall move the party at the senatorial level to a greater height.” Braboke stated.

It would be recalled that Chief Takeme was a former caretaker chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, he was a former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Burutu Local Government Area and was a former commisioner for Urban Renewal Delta State during the first administration of Governor Okowa.
