BREAKING: Tension As Chief Mamamu Vibrates, Gives Neconde 48 Hours To Vacate OML 42 In Delta – The Liberator

Elder Statesman, High Chief (Dr) S.Y Mamamu (UNPA), (JP), The Torou-Ebediwei of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State has on behalf of Odidi Federated Community and the OML 42 Host Communities issued a stern warning to Neconde Energy Companies Limited to vacate the facility within 48 hours, beginning from today before it will degenerate to what cannot be curtailed.
This was made known to journalists in Warri earlier today during a press briefing at the residence of the revered Elder Statesman, to which copy of the release was obtained by The Liberator Newspaper.
Chief S. Mamamu, leader of Odidi Federated Community, speaking among other reasons noted that the Oil Company has allegedly refused to pay indigenous contractors of Neconde and have continued to pay dear ear to all agreements hitherto entered into with the Odidi Federated Community.
The revered elder noted that enough is enough for the negligence and the deliberate refusal to attend to their plights as host community to the company, stressing that they cannot be slaves to people enjoying their oil wealth.
The statement had called on Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State, Chief Timpre Sylva, Honourable Minister for Petroleum, State, Hon. Godswill Akpabio, Minister Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Emman Ambgbaduba, Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Delta State, the Nigerian Senate, House Committee on Oil and Gas, House of Representatives, Inspector General of Police, Adamu Abubakar Mohammed, the Delta State House of Assembly, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other relevant agencies to urgently investigate Mr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi, Chief Executive Officer of Neconde Energy Companies Limited for his shady deals in the Oil exploration activities in the OML 42 and Odidi Federated Community within the past years.

We are giving Neconde Energy Companies to vacate Odidi Federated community and OML42 within 48hrs. The Elder Statesman on his speech call on the Federal Government, Sen. Necode Energy Companies has been operating in Odidi federated community & OML42 at large with some companies but to mention few.

Necode Energy Companies are in operation and in Odidi Federated Community have refused to pay the indigenous contractors and also dues on the agreement of Odidi federated community, and OML42 Host communities.
We are also calling on ICPC and other Government Agencies to investigate this companies so it may not cause commercial crisis
With the OML 42 Host communities. We will be forced to take action for the time duration given to Necode Energy Companies.
