According to information reaching the news desk of The Liberator Newspaper indicated that there is growing tension in Delta’s oil facility, OML 42 in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.

High Chief Mosco Johnny who expressed his displeasure over the matter told The Liberator Newspaper that he will resist any attempt by Neconde to hoodwink host communities to sign GMoU or GMoU.

The Niger Delta leader of thought, high chief Mosco Johnny, a major stakeholder in Gbaramatu Kingdom noted that his reasons for rejecting the said Gmou or Mou is due to  the fact that such arrangement is a new form of colonisation, adding that the host communities are comfortable with the present arrangement.

He said as far as he is concerned, Okerenkoko and its federated communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom will not be a party to it.

Speaking further on the looming tension hovering around the facility, Johnny said a look at GMoU’s and MoU’s in neighbouring facilities and other Niger Delta areas indicated that all is not well with these people, hence he is resisting any attempt to manipulate the people to sign any document that will lead to more slavery.
Meanwhile, in our bid to balance the report, all efforts geared towards reaching out to officials of Neconde to hear their reaction proves abortive as they did not respond to messages forwarded to them .

This is a developing story, more details later…….
