​Decades Of Staying Under Rain, Sun, Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation Relocates Blind Widow In Delta

In what has been described as an uncommon gesture, the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) has provided succor to Mama Helene Egokiniovo, a blind widow who has been living in a dilapidated building under rain and sun to a benefiting apartment at Ekete Inland in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of the foundation, Comr. Ernest Bebenimibo made the disclosure yesterday to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspaper. 

Comr. Bebenimibo revealed that Mama Helene has been staying in the said dilapidated building for decades with her children who had been exposed under the rain and sun with terrifying living conditions. 

He continued that the situation was so until the foundation met her in its food outreach to the indigents and aged in Udu Local Government Area during the total lockdown of the state to curtail spread of the novel coronavirus. 

CEO of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) stated that the foundation had promised the blind widow, Mama Helene Egokiniovo and her children to help her in three well thought out stages.

The three stages according to Comr. Ernest Bebenimibo are provision of monthly foodstuff to Mama and her children, relocating her to a befitting apartment where she and her family will not be exposed to the rain and sun.

The third stage the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation promised Mama Helene was provision of quality education to her children upon the resumption of school.

However, as it is today, the foundation while upholding to its promise to Mama, it has been providing her with the monthly foodstuff and now relocating her to a good apartment has also been met on the 28th of August 2020.

It would be recalled that after relocating her to the befitting apartment at Ekete Inland, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Ernest Bebenimibo had also provided stove, pots and other kitchen utensils. 

Out of his magnanimity, Ernest Bebenimibo also bought wrappers for Mama in order to make her more descent. 

Meanwhile, Madam Helene Egokiniovo couldn’t hold her joy as she began dancing , glorifying God for using Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation to change her story and prayed for God’s blessing and protection to Mr Ernest Bebenimibo and all members of the Foundation.

The Liberator Newspaper can report that the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation is working on the  Foundation’s agenda to provide 20 Housing Estates for Widows, less privileged and the needy.


Nevertheless, on his part, Director General (DG) of the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF),  Pst.  Ossai Darlington Ogaga had send his warmth appreciation to all donors who has supported Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation since its flag off.
