​BREAKING: Tears Of Joy As Dekawei Foundation Places Queen Alice On N500,000,00 University Scholarship

Tears of joy flows from the eyes of Her Majesty, Queen Alice Emmanuel, winner of the 2020 edition, Face of Gbaramatu International beauty pageant earlier today as a leading Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF)  placed the reigning beauty Queen on a N500,000,00 university scholarship. The Liberator Newspaper can report.

While presenting the  N500,000,00 university scholarship letter to Queen Alice at Wellington Hotel, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Amb. John Dekawei, founder and chairman of the foundation had reiterated the John Dekawei Foundation’s commitment to develop the Girl Child educationally and otherwise around the World. 

Amb. John Dekawei while using the medium to congratulate the beauty Queen had tasked her to make judicious use of the scholarship the foundation is giving to her. 

Speaking further, Dekawei appreciated the GbaramatuVoice Publishing House for their initiative in packaging the Face of Gbaramatu International beauty pageant, stressing that such will no doubt contribute meaningfully towards the Girl Child Development in the Niger Delta region. 

He noted that while the foundation is poised to make life more meaningful for the needy in the society, he stressed that developing the Girl Child in the World remains one of the key underlying principles of the John Dekawei Foundation, adding that he will continue to see what can be done to better the life of the Girl Child whenever the need arises. 

With tears of Joy, Queen Alice Emmanuel appreciated the John Dekawei Foundation for coming to her rescue, stressing that her hope of going to school has now become a reality.

The beauty Queen applauded Amb. John Dekawei for the gesture, describing it as rare, praying that the Lord Almighty shall continue to increase the foundation financially beyond human comprehension. 

Representing the Publisher of GbaramatuVoice Newspaper, Jacob Abai, the general manager of the media outlet, Mr. Asiaye Enaibo  had appreciated the John Dekawei Foundation for prioritising the Girl Child Development in the Niger Delta region. 

Mr. Enaibo lauded Dekawei for all his deeds towards reconstructing the many ills bedeviling the society and his contributions so far geard towards assisting the needy in the society, adding that the media outfit is grateful for his gesture towards the beauty Queen and would always pray for his advancement in life. 

Touched my her response, Amb. John Dekawei is also making a U-turn to deposit N100,000,00 into the personal account of the Queen as part of the money set aside by the foundation for her scholarship. 

John Dekawei was flanked by Azaiye Bebenimibo, alias MC Collabo, Mr. Wisdom as well as Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill during the presentation of the scholarship letter to the Queen.

Dear Queen Alice, while we congratulate you on your sweeping victory for becoming Face of the Gbaramatu International 2020 beauty pageant, we are also pleased to inform you that the John Dekawei Foundation have graciously awarded you a university scholarship of N500,000,00.

The John Dekawei Foundation takes special interest in contributing massively towards the “Girl Child Education and development” in Nigeria and beyond and as such, we deemed it feet to contribute to your educational wellbeing, being one of the founding principles of our foundation. 

To us at the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), educating and developing the Girl Child is very key in the society as women plays pivotal role in the society. The foundation believes that when a Girl Child is educated, she can do exploits for the betterment of the society, without education one would not have heard about the great women in the world. In some countries, women have become even presidents, legislators, lawyers, justices and what have you, we can also see the strength they are putting in whatever they do. Without proper education, that woman that we are celebrating, we would not have heard so much about her. 

However, the modalities of the Scholarship is that the N500,000,00 will be paid directly to Queen Alice account in three tranches. 

The first payment will be N200,000,00 with admission letter from the intended university as a proof.

The second and third tranches of payment will be made after the admission in different levels at the University.
