​Councillorship: Andaowei Solicits For Support, Promises Effective Representation If Elected

Frontline Councillorship aspirant in Ward 17, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Comr. Anthony Andaowei Okou has solicited for supports among critical stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to enable him win the forthcoming Councillorship election in the ward at the party primaries. 

Andaowei made the disclosure to newsmen recently in Warri while bearing his mind on his Councillorship ambition. 

Speaking to The Liberator Newspapers, Comr. Okou stressed that Obotebe ward needs a sagacious lawmaker at the Burutu Legislative Chamber to properly allay the fears of the people. 

While hailing leaders of the ward, Okou said the ward leaders have tried their bests and still doing all they could to draw more development to the area, stressing that a more vibrant representation at the Burutu Legislative Chamber, representing Obotebe Dsiec ward is needed to complement their efforts at the grass root level.

The Councillorship aspirant maintained that the issues bedeviling the Kingdom in terms of development is becoming more and more worrisome hence his mission is to add his voice in the developmental journey of the Kingdom. 

He said its high time sons and daughters of  Obotebe kingdom contribute their quota in the overall development of the area.

Andaowei continued that whenever the elections comes, he is ready to contest, adding that he is highly grounded with the multiple issues bedeviling his people, vowing that if elected as the Councillor representing the ward, he will rally round key stakeholders to fastract more development to Umbi Kingdom. 

However, Andaowei had particularly appealed to leaders in the ward to consider him as the next Councillor of the ward, promising that he will not dissapoint them and people of the ward if elected. 

Meanwhile, it would be recalled that Comr. Andaowei Okou has been a staunch supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) right from its formation in Nigeria, he had virtually worked selflessly with almost all leaders of the party in the ward and beyond.
