​Burial Of Asaka-Ere: Children Appreciates Favour, Pullah, Oboku, Opudu, Ako, Others For Gracing Ceremony

Following the befiting burial given to their mother, late Mrs Asaka-ere Douglas nee Odubowei at Isaba in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State on the 12th of December 2020, the children have appreciated all those that graced and supported the burial in their own way.

The appreciation was contained in a statement issued to newsmen in Warri yesterday, signed by Mr. Michael Douglas on behalf of the family, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers. 

Michael Douglas who is the chairman of Oil producing Diebiri Governing Council in Diebiri Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State had particularly appreciated Chief Favour Izoukumor, Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Warri South West, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, member representing Burutu South, Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Kenneth Oboku Bramor, Chief Boro Opudu, Chairman Delta State Waterways/Land Security Committee  as well as Pst. Samuel Ako, Executive Assistant (EA) to Governor Okowa on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution.

The statement further thanked and appreciated the Redeem Christian church of God, Kings  Court mega Parish Jakpa road led by Brother Amos Okoro and Brother  Emmanuel Edejaro, Chief Henry Suoware, Chief William Tortor, Rev Paulson, Chief Newman Kanawei Bramor and the entire Bramor’s family , Prince Barry-bee Orugbene vice chairman Diebiri, KK Oluba secretary Diebiri, Mr Esquire  Debetolu, Mr Emmanuel  Kemefa,Mr Victor Ziegbe,  Hon Michael Oweikpodor, Comr Thompson Miekebina Tunubo, Dcn Wellington Igetei, Capt Pesigha Idolor,Hon Moses Ogugu,Hon Benjamin Egah,Mr Newman Ekpor and others too numerous to mention.


The Douglas and the Odubowei’s family of Isaba had while appreciating everyone that graced and supported the burial of late madam Asaka-ere  lauded the contributions of their cousin and son Chief Kenneth Oboku Bramor for standing behind them all through the burial.

Also speaking, Hon Moses Douglas on his part said his mother lived a fulfilled life, stressing that the Lord Almighty will continue to expand all those that spent their time and resources to make the burial colourful and historic.
