​Good Joe Foundation Tours Delta Communities, Distributes Clothes, Notebooks, Pens, Bags, Other Items

A Niger Delta based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) under the aegies of Good Joe Foundation (GJF) on Tuesday toured round some communities in Delta  state to distribute items to the aged and students of various primary schools. The Liberator Newspapers can report. 

The visit which was personally headed by chairman and founder of the foundation, Comr. Goodluck Joel yesterday began its  visit to the Ujevwu primary and secondary schools in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

Shortly after distributing the items to the primary and schools students at Ujuvwe Primary and secondary schools , Comr. Goodluck Joel in company of other members of the foundation visited other primary schools in Delta riverine communities. 

Some of the other primary schools visited include Ela Primary school, Ofougbene, Ofou Primary school, Burutu, Ofougbene secondary school, OOfougbene, Burutu Primary school, Tarabe Primary School, Egini Primary and secondary schools in Udu as well as Forcados primary school. 

The items distributed to the Primary and secondary schools in Burutu Local Government and Udu Local Government Areas of Delta State include dozens of school bags, thousands of pens, dozens of mathematical sets and thousands of notebooks. 

Meanwhile, particularly in Burutu, the Good Joe Foundation paid the school fees of 50 pupils in Burutu, Tarabe and Ofou Primary schools as his contribution to boost education in the area bedside the distribution of the aforementioned items. 

Nevertheless, Comr. Goodluck Joel, chairman of the foundation had also splashed cash on clothes that was distributed to the aged in Burutu, Forcados and Ofougbene communities in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

However, in their reactions, both the aged who benefited from the clothes distribution, the students that got the notebooks, pens, mathematical sets, the bags and school fees all spoke in similar manner by thanking and appreciating the young philanthropist, Comr. Goodluck Joel, chairman and founder of the Good Joe Foundation for his kind gesture towards alleviating the sufferings of the people by boosting the educational standards of the pupils and clothing the aged. 

They particularly prayed for the continued uplifment of the Good Joe Foundation and his personal life in whatever he lays his hands upon. 

Speaking further, Goodluck Joel had maintained that he is committed in doing good for humanity, stressing that the second phase of the distribution exercise of the foundation has been slated on February 2021, adding that he owes his gratitude to the Lord Almighty for giving him the strength to put smiles on the faces of people, maintaining that he is not embarking on his humanitarian activities to score some political points, adding that he is not a politician hence he is doing so out of his free will.  

It would be recalled that during the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic  in 2020, the Good Joe Foundation also doled out cash to purchase food items that was distributed to riverine communities in Delta State.
