Mamamu’s Death: Deputy Governor Otuaro Sends Condolence Message To Family, Ijaw Nation

The Deputy Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Barr. (Dcn) Kingsley Burutu Otuaro have send a condolence message to the family and children of late Chief. Dr. S.Y Mamamu over his demise, describing his death as painful.
This was contained in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide earlier today.
The Deputy Governor of Delta State had stated that Ijaws have truly lost a strong voice.
In his words: “I woke up this morning to the sad news of the passing of a father, leader and an Elder Statesman, Chief (Dr.) S.Y Mamamu.
“The late Chief (Dr.) S.Y Mamamu was one-time Chairman of the Ijaw National Congress (INC) Western Zone who served the Ijaw nation with great faith and commitment.
“His works of community service and peace-building will forever be missed.My heart and prayers are with the family and Ijaw nation he served. May God grant the soul of the departed eternal rest!”
