Niger Delta Youth Leader and business mogul Engr.Don Ogugu has expressed joy and have appreciated all Niger Deltans that took out their time in celebrating him on his birth anniversary.
Ogugu through a press statement issued to Newsmen in Warri and obtained by the Liberator Newspaper on Friday said he is excited following the massive show of love by prominent leaders in Niger Delta region for celebrating him.
The business tycoon who hails from Diebiri, Isaba and Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State while lauding High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo stated that Tompolo is a man of the people whose name has been engraved in the history book of the Niger Delta freedom struggle, stressing that for him to be celebrated by Tompolo himself and other notable leaders in the region which include Chief Favour Izoukumor, Chief Boro M. He said Tompolo is a man who detest injustice and stood for truth, a leader whose priority is the welfare of his people and never betrayed them despite the stiff opposition he faced in the hands of forces who never meant well for the Ijaws and the entire Niger Delta region, adding that all well meaning Ijaws should work with Tompolo to get the desired Ijaw of “our dream.
In his birth anniversary message, Ogugu had urged Tompolo never to renege in negotiating a better deal for the Ijaw people, stressing that Tompolo is the pride of Ijaw nation Worldwide.
However, the Diebiri born businessman have prayed to the Lord Almighty to grant long life and prosperity to all those that celebrated him in one way or the other, noting that celebration shall never depart from their households. 8
