Member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, Hon. Julius Pondi has congratulated Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, former deputy speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly on his appointment and inauguration as Senior Political Adviser to His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report.

This was contained in a statement he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Asaba earlier today shortly after gracing the inauguration ceremony.

Hon. Julius Pondi particularly described the appointment and inauguration of Funkekeme Solomon as a worthy one, stressing that Hon. Solomon is the right man for the job.

However, speaking further, Pondi stressed that as usual, the highly revered politician in Burutu Local Government and Delta State at large will no doubt perform well as Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, a position he has handled before.

“Hon. Solomon Funkekeme is a politician with an intimidating political pedigree. He will surely bring his wealth of experience to the fore in piloting the affairs of the office.

“No one could have ever done the job as Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State better than Hon. Funkekeme, the Ogoun of Africa, Angribio and the Ogiribo of mosoga.

“Funkekeme has become a household name in the Delta State politics. He has carved a niche for himself in the Delta State politics.

“It is my prayer that the Lord Almighty shall continue to give you more wisdom to deliver again and again in this new office of yours. I congratulate you on behalf of the entire Burutu Federal Constituency. The entire constituency is proud of you “. Pondi stated

Meanwhile, Pondi asserted that the congratulatory message will be incomplete without him appreciating His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State for reappointing Hon. Solomon Funkekeme as his Senior Political Adviser.

He noted that Governor Okowa will be leaving behind legacies that will be difficult to surpas by other administrations in the state.
