Apex Ijaw group, the Ijaw National Congress (INC) has celebrated Chief (Dr) Edwin Kiagbodo Clark on his 95th birth anniversary, describing him as a symbol of unity in Nigeria.
This was contained in a congratulatory message signed by Engr. Ezonebi Oyakemeagbegha, Publicity Secretary of INC on behalf of the entire National Executive Council of the Ijaw National Congress and Ijaw Nation, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.

The President and the entire members of the National Executive Council NEC, of the Apex Socio-Cultural group of the Ijaw Nation, the Ijaw National Congress INC, hereby warmly felicitate with you, our great leader, Chief (Dr.) Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, on the auspicious occasion of your 95th birth anniversary.
One cannot but thank God for your life, which has been remarkable and eventful in many ways and largely dedicated to the service of God and humanity
Your passion for the cause of the Ijaw nation, nay Niger Delta will continually be referenced in Nigeria and beyond, considering the various roles you have played to bring about peace, safety, unhindered oil production and development to the Niger Delta and by extension the country.
You have remained a fearless and patriotic advocate of the Ijaw nation, just as you have continued to lend a strong voice to issues that affect the people.
As the world celebrates you at 95, it is our prayer that God grants you good health of mind and body, more years of fruitful contribution to the growth and development of your fatherland and especially the Ijaw nation.
