Voters in Delta State  have been urged to reject the People’s Democratic Party PDP and its gubernatorial flag bearer and throw their weight behind the candidacy of Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress APC in the 2023 Delta State governorship elections.

A youth leader in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State Timi Adanse made  the call  while speaking with the Liberator Newspaper on Wednesday.

Adanse noted that  time have come when people will begin to vote for candidates based on their pedigree and their ability to deliver irrespective of party affiliation.

The youth leader insisted  that Omo- Agege is most qualified to occupy  Dennis Osadebe House come 2023 because of his proven character and capacity to deliver democratic dividends.

He noted that Omo- Agege has impacted so much on the people of Delta Central he represents at the senate compared to what the PDP has done for Deltans in its 16 years of rule.

He said “Take your time and check out what the deputy senate president has done for his people since he occupied that position.”

“We are tired. How can we have an umbrella and still be soaked in the rain?” He asked

He  opined that if voted into power again, the PDP “will use the next four years in recovering money they looted to sponsor their elections, the next four years will be used in making unfulfilled promises again.”

“We will vote for individuals who will develop their regions if given the opportunity.” He said
