Forteta Condoles With Close Political Ally Kofee On Demise Of His Father
Member representing Burutu North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta has condoled with Senior Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Investment Hon. Kofee Ebisine Amasuomo on the demise of his father. Pa Patrick Amasuomo.
In a chat with The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta described late Pa Amasuomo who is fondly called “This is Ayakoromo” as a carrier of peace and a true community builder.
The lawmaker stated that the news of the death of Pa Amasuoma which occurred on May 29 came as a rude shock to the political family.
Forteta further stated that the elder statesman was an ideal promoter of peace who detested every claw of societal negation.
“Papa till his death was a lover of all irrespective of class and status. He was friendly and very accommodating. Ayakoromo have truly lost a great man” Asupa asserted.
Hon. Asupa also assured the bereaved family of his support towards having a befitting funeral for the octogenarian who according to him lived a very fulfilled life.
He however, admonished the bereaved family and the entire Ayakoromo community to take solace with the fact that “it is God that giveth and also taketh”
Speaking further, Asupa equally prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and grant the soul of the departed eternal rest in his bosom.
Meanwhile, Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta who is the House Committee Chairman on security is also the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Burutu North House of Assembly ahead of the 2023 general elections.
