Gawei To Be Remembered And Celebrated 4 Years After In Ogulagha Kingdom
Former Niger Delta warlord, late general Bonny Gawei will be remembered and celebrated on the 14th of July 2022 at his hometown in Obotobo 1 Community, Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Until his death in 2018, the late general Bonny Gawei was a man who fought for the liberation of his people, Gawei popularly known as the Abade 1 of Niger Delta will be remembered and celebrated as a fallen hero at his compound in Obotobo I Community.
However, Comr. Ebolo Samuel, Chairman of Ijaw Youth Council in Ngbilebiri Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State who also doubles as the Chairman of all chairmen in Western have added his voice to that of the Gawei family and the Obotobo I Community in inviting the general public to grace the remembrance ceremony of the late warlord on the 14th of July 2022 at Obotobo I Community in Ogulagha Kingdom.
Nevertheless, an information regarding the ceremony obtained by The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide revealed that an Ijaw music don, Prince Abraham, the numupere of Isaba Kingdom will be live on stage to entertain dignitaries.
