Newly democratically elected and legally inaugurated Chairman of Odimodi and its federated communities in Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, Comr. Solomon Gbegha has vowed that the oil rich community will be great again. 

Comr. Solomon Gbegha made assertion earlier today via his inaugural speech  presented at Odimodi during the Inauguration party. 

Gbegha particularly vowed that he will work with all leadership structures in the community to ensure that Odimodi takes her rightful place in the society. 

However, Comr. Solomon Gbegha had appreciated members of his quarter and the entire Odimodi Community for their peaceful disposition before, during and after the election, stressing that a new and better Odimodi is now in the making via his leadership. 

Nevertheless, Gbegha also appreciated traditional rulers, chiefs, community Chairmen in Iduwini Kingdom and prominent Niger Deltans that graced the ceremony, promising that he will not betray the confidence reposed on him. 

Speaking further, Comr. Solomon Gbegha noted that Odimodi under his watch will continue to be more united, stressing that he will institute a process of reconciling with all aggrieved parties.

He continued that the journey of making Odimodi great is one that requires everyone’s contribution, stressing that his Exco will work with all relevant stakeholders in addressing the developmental woes confronting the community. 

He noted that Odimodi is one big family hence he will do all within his power together with his executive members to operate and open door policy by carrying everyone along. 

The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report that Niger Delta king of music, Chief Barrister Smooth, popularly known as the paddle of Niger Delta was live on stage to thrill dignitaries. 

The event was massively graced by a lot of dignitaries across the Niger Delta region. 

The new Odimodi community leaders include: Comr. Solomon Gbegha- Chairman, Oghobiriwei  Iyalagha Secretary, Dere Podoki- PRO, Richard  Ebiyadou – Assistant Secretary, Bernnard  Kpadia- Treasurer as well as Mr. Parish  Waregbamo – Fin Secretary.

Others are Mr. Dressman Potolo, ward chairman, Ifikorowei and Mr. Monday Obokuro –  ward chairman Ifie quarter.
