The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have recently called on the Governor to put an end to secret killings in Delta allegedly using compromised security agents in the state.

But in a reaction, the Niger Delta Youth Council had warned IPOB to stay clear from Delta State, stressing that Delta State is not their territory and therefore lacks the right to comment on  issues regarding it.

The counter publication was signed by President of the Niger Delta Youth Council, Amb. Comr. Mamamu Bene Youkore, popularly known as Young Chief, stressing that the group is spreading lies against the Governor.

However, the Niger Delta Youth Council had particularly urged members of the general public to completely disregard such rumours regarding the Governor, adding that IPOB has no business or whatsoever in Delta State.

Meanwhile, President Mamamu noted that His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is doing well in Delta State hence Deltans are happy with his leadership, adding that Deltans will not give in to cheap blackmail against the Governor
