Tomone Congratulates Oborevwori On Appeal Court Victory
Amb. Chief, (Dr) Godspower Tomone, the leader of oil rich Youbebe Community of Ogulagha Kingdom, and the foremost projected politician for the Burutu Local Government Council Chairmanship come 2024, has issued a congratulatory message in commemoration of Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s Appeal Court Victory in Abuja where he was restored as the credibly elected PDP candidate to run for the 2023 Delta State Governorship election.
Tomone who has been a staunch supporter of Oborevwori from the onset, described the victory at the appellate court as a Victory for the entire People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Delta State in general. He added that Oborevwori has a clean record as the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and would do beyond the expectations of Deltans if elected as the next Governor of the state.
The Burutu Local Government political figure and PDP chieftain while congratulating Sheriff, admonished all PDP followers to see the path of unity as a more profitable one for the best interest of the party. He said internal division would only be a mockery to the party as PDP remains the chief corner stone of Delta State’s politics. Tomone called for more unity within the party. He pleaded with all to rally around Oborevwori and give him all the necessary support for the party’s sake.
The congratulatory message signed and sent to newsmen in Warri reads in part below,
” I wish to congratulate our amiable speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Governor of Delta State by God’s grace come 2023 for his resounding victory at the appeal Court, Abuja on the 29th of August, 2023. His reinstatement as the credible Governorship candidate of PDP , is a victory worth celebrating. I am delighted to be part of this movement which is geared towards giving Delta State the best of quality leadership. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is a tested and trusted political tactician and strategist whose competence has been critically weighed and has been certified and authenticated as the best option for the job ahead. It is high time we left all sentiments and work together with Oborevwori as one United party, ready to achieve our set goals as a party. Victory is 100% sure if we all work in one accord.”
