Family Releases Burial Schedule For Agbonu’s Mother, Ijaw Top Musicians Set To Peform

Family and children of Late Chief Mrs (Mama) Princess Amoguye Timiyan, the Ebike Ogulagha-Ibe Miyen-ere of Ogulagha Kingdom (Nee Diegbegha) have released a burial schedule for the late matriach who until her death was the mother of the revered paramount ruler of Ogulagha Kingdom. 

In a circular signed by the duo of High Chief (Gen) Jacob Timiyan, for the children and Chief John Diegbegha, for the family, a copy of which was made available to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide noted that top ranking Ijaw musicians will be storming Ogulagha Kingdom to perform live during the four days long anticipated big burial. 

Among the top Ijaw musicians billed to perform during the four days long burial include King Pereama Freetown, Chief Barrister S. Smooth, Alfred Izon-Ebi, Abraham Young and Bestman May.

Late Chief Mrs (Mama) Princess Amoguye Timiyan, the Ebike Ogulagha-Ibe Miyen-ere of Ogulagha Kingdom (Nee Diegbegha) who passed on peacefully on the 30th of August 2022.

Until her death, she survived by 5 illustrious children, 73 grand children, 3 great grand children and many relatives. She died at age 82. 

On Friday 4th of November 2022 live musical performance by the trio of Chief Barrister S. Smooth, Alfred Izon-Ebi and Abraham Young for social wake keep till dawn at her compound in Obotobo 1 community in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. 

However, still on Friday 4th of November 2022, Bestman May will perform live onboard a vessel to Obotobo I community.

On Saturday 5th of November 2022 is for Interment.

Sunday 6th of November 2022 is thanksgiving service.

While on Monday 7th of November 2022 will be Mama’s final burial rites as King Pereama Freetown (JP), the numupere II will perform live till dawn. 

Monday 31st of October 2022 1.00pm, Service of songs at the residence of HRM, Elder Capt. (King) Dr. Joseph I. Timiyan (JP), the Ebenanawei of Ogulagha Kingdom at Delta Palace Road.
