2023: Niger Delta Revered Leader, Evans Congratulate Oborevwori On Supreme Court Judgment
His Excellency, Amb. Chief Evans Etimigba (JP), FICMC, MBA, Chairman of the ward 11 (Eleven) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caucus in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have added his voice to that of others in congratulating the speaker of Delta State House of Assembly and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State 2023 Governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his supreme court victory.
The PDP ward 11 caucus Chairman and a prominent leader in Burutu Local Government Area, Amb. Chief Evans issued the congratulatory message to newsmen in Warri earlier today via a statement he personally signed, a copy of which was sent to The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide.
Chief Evans who was an adhoc delegate in the just concluded PDP primaries who joined others in playing key role that led to the overwhelming victory of Oborevwori at the Delta State PDP governorship primary in Asaba asserted that the will of the people have once again prevailed.
Amb. Etimigba had also in the statement called on all PDP members in Delta State to continue to be united, stressing that the gains of a united house is far more better than a disunited house.
However, while speaking on the leadership qualities of Oborevwori, Chief Etimigba noted that at this point in time, the Delta PDP 2023 Governorship candidate is the best man that will take Delta State to the promised land if given the chance as Governor of the state, adding that he is a tested and trusted leader.
The ward 11 PDP caucus Chairman urged those who lost in the legal tussle not to see themselves as losers but winners so as to work with the PDP Governorship candidate to ensure victory for the party in the main election.
“The victory is a victory for PDP and the people who couldn’t make it are not losers. As a party, we must be united to make the party stronger. We must work together as one family to secure victory come 2023 general elections.
“The emergence of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will increase our chances of winning the general election in Delta State .” he said.
