Yuletide: Asupa Distributes Over 500 Bags Of Rice, Indomie, Groundnut Oil, Cash Accross Burutu LGA

Hon. Asupa Peter Forteta who is the house committee chairman on security while addressing the press at the distribution center in Giwawu, Warri, Delta State explained that it has become a yearly tradition for him to reach out to his people during the yuletide season as their leader.

According to him, about 500 bags of rice, 500 cartons of Indomie noodles and 500 kegs of groundnut oil was distributed across all the various wards constituting Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Speaking further, Forteta said since he is directly representing Burutu North, wards in Burutu North will be having 40 bags of rice, 40 cartons of indomie noodles, 40 kegs of groundnut oil and 350k for each wards in Burutu North.

Asupa continued that wards in Burutu South will also have bags of rice, cartons of Indomie, kegs of groundnut oil and cash for logistics to spice up the festive season.

However, the lawmaker maintained that bags of rice, cartons of Indomie noodles, kegs of groundnut oil and cash was also splashed to other relevant groups and individuals in the polity.

According to him, the various ward leaders were on ground to receive the items for onward distribution, stressing that the items should not be shared among party lines as they should be shared to everyone in the constituency, particularly in Burutu North.

Nevertheless, Hon. Forteta had urged the good people of Burutu North and south to vote for all the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidates in the forthcoming general elections, stressing that things can only get better with PDP in power.

The House Committee Chairman on Security had particularly appreciated the people of Burutu North for the mandate given to him to represent them, adding that he will continue to make them proud.
