Christmas Day: How Former IYC President Oweilaemi Hosted Youth Leaders In Warri

In what could be described as a show of love, former President of Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Amb. Barr. Roland Pereotubo Oweilaemi on Sunday the 25th of December 2022 on Christmas day hosted some key Niger Delta Youth leaders at his residence in Warri. The Liberator Newspapers Worldwide can report
The former IYC President had while addressing the youth leaders called for a united Ijaw nation, stressing that with sustained unity and genuine love, the Ijaw nation will surely take its due place in the Nigerian state.
He particularly charged youths of Ijaw nation to be focused and venture into productive ventures that will in return make them good ambassadors of Ijaw nation.
According to him, the many issues bedeviling Ijaw nation in the Nigerian state is something that all right thinking and well meaning Ijaw sons and daughters must truly fight for, adding that Ijaw man from anywhere remains an Ijaw man.
Oweilaemi maintained that the intellectual agitation for a more productive and better Ijaw nation is something that the youths must not get tired of intellectually.
However, the former president of Council asserted that he has done his part for Ijaw nation in his days as President of National Union of Izonebe Students (NUIS) Worldwide and as President Ijaw Youths Council (IYC) Worldwide.
Speaking further, Oweilaemi continued that he will not get tired in fighting for a better Ijaw nation whenever the need arises.
While appreciating the youth leaders for visiting him, Oweilaemi stated that with love and unity of purpose, the future of Ijaw nation is bright.
