Sokebolou Inaugurates New Leadership As Chairman Anumu Vows To Provide  Productive Leadership

The people of Sokebolou Community in Oil rich Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State on Tuesday converged at the classic community hall to inaugurate new leadership of the community that will pilot the affairs of the town for the next three years. The event which was heavily attended by high profiled dignitaries across Delta State with top notch politicians in the state who were fully on ground to witness the historic community leadership inauguration has been described by community pundits as one of the best inauguration so far.

Speaking shortly after taking the oath of office on Tuesday 17th of January 2023 at the community town hall, newly inaugurated Chairman of Sokebolou community, Comr. Anumu Believe had promised the people of Sokebolou that together with his cabinet members and everyone in the town, he will provide productive leadership for the community.

However, Comr. Anumu had also vowed to provide an open door policy by carrying everyone along, stressing that he will ensure that the many woes confronting the community will be addressed by his exco by rallying round critical stakeholders of community.

Nevertheless, Believe while appreciating Comr. Churchill Dose, immediate past Chairman of the community for his peaceful and positive role during the electioneering and transition era had also lauded the support of everyone in the community and the kingdom at large, adding that he will continue to owe them in high esteem.

Believe stressed that he will do everything within his powers together with his exco members not to betray the confidence reposed on them, adding that better days are here for the people.

Those inaugurated include Comr. Anumu Believe, chairman, Comr. Ibilou Noah, Vice Chairman, Engr. Disi Soji, Secretary, Okporo Louis, Financial Secretary as well asArisibi Christopher as Assistant Secretary.

Popular and wave making Ijaw musician, Bestman May was on ground to thrill dignitaries during the ceremony.Meanwhile, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency, House of representatives, Amb. Dr. Shedrack Agediga, ED, PRS, DESOPADEC, Hon. Godknows Angele,Chairman, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Emman Angbaduba, Commissioner, Ministry of Oil and gas, Delta State, Chief Peres Oloye, candidate PDP, Delta State House of Assembly, Burutu South, Sir Godfrey Pondi, popularly known as Dibia, Gen. Adowei Freedom, Mrs Georgina Evah, Comr. Emmanuel Gesikeme Akpule, Hon. Emmanuel Sanibeni, Comr. Duncan Forcados with the host of other dignitaries too numerous to mention were on ground to grace the inauguration ceremony.
